Always read and follow the product label directions for use, and consult your veterinarian before using any product.

Show-Rite Milk Replacer is a mildly acidified milk replacer to supplement or replace nutrition for young piglets. The page says it can also be used as a fat supplement for show pigs. The catalog lists it with show pig supplements, so this file is a commercial supplement rather than a complete base feed.

Feeding directions

Slop: mix 1 cup (4 oz) per 16 oz water with feed at each feeding. Top-dress: sprinkle 1 cup (4 oz) dry milk replacer on the feed twice a day. For one gallon of mixed milk replacer, add 1 lb (4 level cups) of powder to 1 gallon of warm water at 120 F and feed the liquid at around 100 F. The page says 1 level plastic cup enclosed in the pail is about 1/4 lb (4 oz) of dry powder. Those are the page’s mixing lines. They are not copied into feeding_rate fields because the units differ.

Label

The page spells selenium as Selinium. No medication or ractopamine line is on the page. No withdrawal is printed.

The exhibitor has to check the show’s current rules. The bag controls.
